The shit I have to put up with

A digital painting I made for my Art Class. It's supposed to be surrealism but.. I don't know.

There are several things I don't like with this picture, that didn't turn out as I wanted them to :/ But I had to get finished at some point.

I spend approximately 18-20 hours on this painting.

Ideas behind the painting:

I'm trying to quit smoking, the cigarette in the left hand respresents smoking habits and the green cutout of the wrists represent how it is poisoning my body.

The burning christian cross represent my hatred for religion (expecially christianity).

The crying eyes represent my sadness. My Art teacher told me that water is often a symbol for life, that's why I choose to make the tears go into, and create, the ocean.

The right hand crushing/holding a heart represents how I want to get rid of my feelings.

Basically this is a very personal painting depicting important feelings and thoughts in my life.
